Neuroscience Research Wearable Physiological Monitoring for OCD Research

Project summary:
Neuroscience researchers studying OCD behavioral patterns needed a wearable device capable of continuous physiological monitoring during daily activities. Existing research-grade wearables were either too stigmatizing for extended wear or lacked the sensor integration required for muscle activity and movement-pattern tracking.

The challenge:
Researchers needed a way to capture continuous physiological data without patients abandoning the device. Our interdisciplinary team of product managers, engineers, and designers created a comfortable, non-stigmatizing sleeve that patients would wear for full-day data capture while meeting clinical data requirements.
