Project summary:
The definition of "National Security" currently is very narrow and only encompasses direct, short-term threats. For this project the Council on Strategic Risks (CSR) is looking to develop a strategy as well as designed assets to pose ecological risks such as food shortages due to the extinction of pollinators, migrations caused by water shortages, and much more as issues needing to be considered under national security in the United States. This infographic was about creating an active timeline marking both the events and the impacts of bioweapons and technology, paired with the context of how bioweapons appeared and transformed from battlefield use to serving as a mode of assassination.
